Stress, Unravelled
As you approach the halfway point of this book the Time-to-Practice will help you hold your intentions a little more lightly. Lesson 4 works with stress: use the preparatory stress practice if you have a particular challenge coming up – like an exam, appraisal, or event.
Exploring the unpleasant is our focused mindfulness practice, but you can swap this with the compassion practice if you’re having a tough time right now – but do come back to practising the unpleasant, as it’s an important step in the development of your mindfulness skills.
